Far from a traditional studio album, ‘Tapestries’ was woven together through years of performing, travelling, and recording. Some of the tracks have been recorded in barns, basements, and bedrooms, as well as Pipe Dream Studios (Portugal). The many talented musicians who contribute to the album include longstanding friends, as well as musicians met travelling and touring.

Rather than aiming for a sterilised studio production, the album tries to capture the rawness and energy of the songs, the performers, and the locations they were recorded. All songs were written by Robin Timmis except Pretty Saro (Trad) and Death from Exposure which was co-written with close friend Jaz Rhodes.
